About the Role

Reporting into the Skincare Head of Brand, the Senior Brand Manager is responsible for developing long-term brand strategy as well as providing key tactical plans and reporting, providing and leading strong marketing activity to drive brand and product growth. Responsible for the brand and global marketing mix, working across business functions to review and continuously optimise brand health. The Senior Brand Manager is also supporting the Head of Brand actively in driving and implementing category important projects. With multiple projects planned for 2021, this is an exciting time to join our ambitious team and take ownership of our award-winning pregnancy skincare brand Mama Mio!

Responsibilities

- Delivering effective campaign and product planning build on strong business cases, with innovative concepts and marketing stories for the Mama Mio brand.

- Coordinating and leading key support functions in the development of campaigns and BAU activity. i.e design, social, content, PR to deliver against the pipeline of projects in the 3yr plan.

- Be the ambassador of the brand by engaging with cross functional departments including marketing activation, e-comm and retail teams continuously and consistently.

- Optimising the on and offline customer journey in line with brand aspirations and business targets. i.e. digital experience optimisation through key tech led projects.

- Responsible for preparation of market research for own brand periodically and following up performance on brand and competitors. Deliver strong analysis on NPD performance to aid key decision making.

- Leading key support functions i.e technical, supply, finance, in the development of products to deliver against the pipeline of projects in the 3yr plan.

- Responsible for the management, adherence and execution of global brand budgets and guidelines.

- Leading / directly managing team of two with potential for team of four.

KPIs

- Global Brand Performance within the category including revenue, EBITDA, awareness, sentiment

- Delivering quality global 360 brand assets with agility and effectiveness

- Management of campaign guidelines and recommendations

- Anticipating market and consumer needs and responding with effective solutions

- Iterating key marketing ‘sell in’ materials to support wider business functions (i.e sales) in their activities

- Constantly reviewing global competition and compiling monthly report on pricing, positioning, placement

Requirements

- Currently working as a Brand Manager for a beauty brand

- Experience growing a brand from small beginnings would be advantageous

- Demonstrated leadership skills even in cross functional work

- Proven people management and development skills

- Team player with ability to work independently and take initiative

- Demonstrate strong business acumen

- Stress tolerant and flexible
