The Role

An exciting opportunity has become available here at Lookfantastic as we are looking for an Ecommerce Trading Manager to join our growing team. The Ecommerce Trading Manager plays a key role in our success, responsible for the delivery of the Pamp;L performance for their territory and driving the growth strategy across UK beauty. The ideal candidate will come from a similar online trading role, or core merchandising background. The role will be based at our Manchester Airport HQ.

Responsibilities

Strategy Development

  • Working with the head of ecommerce to plan, build and execute the UK beauty strategy.
  • Ensuring all key trading moments are well planned and executed with a 360-market activation plan, clearly phased targets by day and site that have been collaboratively produced with buying, merchandising and marketing functions.
  • Driving continuous site improvements to maximise conversion and AOV on site, across a range of areas including channel plans, merchandising, page structure, creative etc.
  • Working closely with the marketing channels on innovative ways to driven incremental revenue for the business.
  • Keeping up to date with industry/market trends and delivering measurable actions in line with these trends to ensure we’re capitalising on all market led opportunities.
  • Developing ways in which we can maximise both sales and profitability Considering all elements of the Pamp;L.
  • Continually working on strategies to improve our new customer acquisition levels, while also improving the CLTV of these new customers and the opt in %.
  • Staying close to competitor movements from a strategic perspective to ensure we’re always delivering a best in market experience across all areas.

Reporting

  • Daily reporting on territory performance including a top line overview, details KPI analysis, channel level detail, site level detail, brand level detail and key actions to drive the improvements needed.
  • Monitor KPI performance across the site.
  • Active collaboration with the data team to drive process improvements and identify new reporting that can drive growth.
  • Using analytics and our in-house reporting platform to gain a strong understanding of the customer journey to optimise sales, measure performance amp; define strategy.
  • Share insights on customer behaviour and trends across beauty functions to drive best practice behaviour and learnings.

Requirements

  • Approximately 3 years' experience in a similar role (online trading/merchandising) is essential
  • Experience managing a large Pamp;L and promotional plans
  • Quick-thinking and analytical, able to use data to make informed decisions
  • Prioritise, structure work amp; effectively manage time
  • Excellent communicator able to give clarity and set direction
