As a Home Education Video Content Creator, you will be joining the small but growing Home Education team within Twinkl. Your primary responsibility will be to showcase our resources for Home Educating members through videos which you will plan, organise, film and edit. This is an exciting time for Home Education at Twinkl as we look for opportunities to provide even more value for our Home Educating members. The videos you work on may include but not be limited to the following:

  • Videos to accompany new resources launched on the site
  • Educational content aimed at children for our YouTube channel which we can link Twinkl resources to
  • Short snapshot videos for Instagram stories
  • Twinkl and site explainer videos
  • Hosting and guiding virtual ‘expeditions’

Using your creativity, imagination and innovation will be positively encouraged in order for your video content to maximise the usefulness of Twinkl resources for our Home Educating members.

You will already have an understanding of how to film and edit videos to a basic level and you will supply and maintain your own filming device.

How you’ll spend your day:

  • You will meet with your video creation colleague each day and the Home Ed team regularly to coordinate projects and decide on the role video content will play in each.
  • You will work from a list of ideas and new resources to create video content best matched to each requirement.
  • You will film your video content, edit and produce it to create finished films for the Twinkl website, social media platforms and our YouTube channel.
  • You will spend time familiarising yourself with video content currently popular with Home Educators and looking for trends in interest and opportunities we can capitalise on. We are looking for passionate, innovative people who seize opportunities and aren’t afraid to experiment.

Be organised with your workload, be able to prioritise your projects and manage your time effectively.
