We are an entirely cloud-based licensed e-money institution for the provision of payment services in the countries of the European Economic Area, a Principal member of MasterCard and Visa for issuing and acquiring services, and a partner to leading global companies, such as Microsoft and AllPay. As part of our rapid growth and expansion we are now looking to recruit a dynamic and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to take ownership all recruitment activities in the UK and Ireland to help support the continued growth of Viva Wallet.

Overview:

Due to our ambitious growth plans, Viva Wallet is committed to attracting, recruiting and retaining the best talent in the UK and Ireland and are currently looking for an experienced in-house Talent Acquisition Specialist to take ownership of recruitment process. Reporting to the HR Manager (UK amp; Ireland) and working closely with our Hiring Managers and the wider HR team, the successful candidate will play an indispensable role in assisting the end-to-end talent acquisition cycle.

If you have an eye for talent, strong networking skills, and experience in a fast-paced recruitment environment (ideally within the Fintech/Payments sector), this could be the job for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Hiring Managers and the HR team to identify and track staffing needs;
  • Take ownership of drafting job descriptions and job advertisements;
  • Liaise with marketing team to ensure maximum exposure of job adverts and optimise pool of candidates;
  • Source top talent through multiple channels including LinkedIn, online channels and own network;
  • Drive the selection process by conducting initial screening assessments, attending 1st and 2nd stage interviews as necessary, and compiling detailed screening/interview notes at all stages;
  • Utilise the Workable recruitment platform to track and trace applicants, maintaining a healthy pipeline of candidates for future opportunities;
  • Provide prompt responses to unsuccessful candidates, thus safeguarding the reputation of the company;
  • Follow through with candidates, hiring teams and the HR function during the selection and pre-hire process;
  • Build and maintain a strong network of candidates (past and future);
  • Attend networking functions and other recruitment events, such as recruitment fairs;
  • Report recruitment metrics to the HR Manager on a weekly basis;
  • Ensure that all our vacancies are filled in the quickest possible time and with the best possible candidates

Requirements

Experience amp; Qualifications:

  • Significant experience (2+ years) working as a recruiter, ideally within the fintech/payments sector;
  • Strong IT literacy, in particular with Microsoft packages and online recruitment platforms;
  • Strong social media presence, in particular with LinkedIn;
  • A proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets and adding value

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a sound commercial acumen;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong and lasting relationships;
  • The ability to interact confidently and professionally with a wide variety of people at all levels, from internal senior recruiting managers to external candidates for positions of varying seniority;
  • The ability to work independently and use own initiative;
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail;
