Job Description

Overview:

The Digital Sales Development Representative plays a crucial role at Viva Wallet, being responsible for engaging with prospective digital clients in order to generate high quality leads for our field-sales team. These leads will either be self-generated or from inbound enquiries. Working as part of the sales team the Digital Sales Development Representative will be responsible for researching potential leads, approaching prospective clients, formally introducing the business and explaining the benefits our services, and updating all appointment and leads on our CRM system. They will be responsible for maximising the potential from each interaction with the aim of converting them into appointments and thus driving future sales. Key Responsibilities:

  • Researching and sourcing new clients from the internet and making outbounds calls from the contacts found via online tools, existing customer referrals and inbounds leads.
  • Informing and making introduction conferences and digital presentations to these potential clients - providing detail about our products and services;
  • Answering their questions about products or the company and resolve client’s problems;
  • Acting as an ambassador for the business and promoting Viva’s services and products;
  • Asking appropriate questions in order to understand customer requirements and supporting the closure of sales;
  • Converting calls into new business into high quality sales leads and to be proactive in identifying opportunities from new business;
  • To take and process orders in an accurate manner;
  • To achieve agreed personal and departmental targets from calling data provided and go the extra mile to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales;
  • Preparing client proposals and contracts;
  • Using company databases to gain potential leads;
  • Entering and maintaining up to date client information into the company database and accurately recording relevant data from calls, leads and sales;
  • To ensure customer satisfaction;
  • Building a long-term relationship with clients and deal with them in a professional manner;
  • Providing service in a prompt, polite and professional standards manner;
  • Assisting other departments as and when required;
  • Informing the management team of the evolution of projects and their daily progress: problematic situations, deviations, conflicts, etc.;
  • To proactively support their manager by suggesting new ideas and constructively questioning thinking where appropriate;
  • Any other tasks as required by the Senior Management of the company

Requirements

Experience amp; Qualifications:

  • Significant B2B experience (2+ years) working in a busy digital/e-commerce lead generation/telesales environment
  • Experience of working with relevant computer programs (i.e. CRM software), as well as multiple communication channels, including telephone, email, webchat systems and ideally Microsoft Teams
  • A proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets and adding value

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to interact confidently and professionally with a wide variety of people at all levels
  • Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure and to deal with potentially emotive issues in a calm, professional and positive manner
  • The ability to work independently and to use own initiative
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent computer skills, including all Microsoft packages (such as Word and Excel)
