BCW London is looking for a driven and collaborative self-starter to establish, build and lead a second BCW London healthcare business to support and continue the exceptional growth the healthcare team has achieved over the last ten years.
In this role you will be responsible for establishing a stand-out and differentiated healthcare business proposition, complementary to the existing pharmaceutical integrated marketing communications offer and aligned to the Global BCW Moving People purpose and London business plan.
As the Managing Director of this distinct offer, you will report to Catherine Keddie, Group MD of Health, BCW London. You will also have a dotted line into our UK CEO, Rebecca Grant, through your role on the senior management team of the UK business.
The proposition for this new healthcare business is an open book. You will have the opportunity to shape the direction of travel according to your areas of expertise, interest and passion; what you believe will be a big bet for future success and sustainable growth in the healthcare sector; and its ability to attract and retain talent.
Alongside the new direction of travel, it will also be important that this business can sustain the continued delivery of successful heritage, ethical healthcare communications work for pharmaceutical and healthcare sector clients; for example to enable us to pursue opportunities that would have otherwise been considered conflicts of interest for the existing health team.
Requirements
You will have a passion for business development and enjoy hunting and tracking prospects for growth; you will have tenure in running a commercially and operationally successful business; you will be curious, open, ambitious for yourself but most importantly for your team and the business; you will be passionate about creating deep and meaningful client partnerships; and have an entrepreneurial approach and a growth mindset. You will bring deep experience to this role in negotiating the matrix, and finely developed collaboration skills will be essential for success. You will be able to access a wider suite of specialisms across the London office and international BCW network.
