Job Description

carwow is looking for a Recruitment Coordinator to join our People and Talent team in London. We are all working on a fully remote basis until at least June 2021, and beyond this, we’ve introduced a new remote-first flexible working policy which means you’ll work from home for the majority of the week with 1-2 days max in the office.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Hiring the absolute best people for our growing team and delivering an exceptional candidate experience is a key priority at carwow. Reporting into the Head of Talent, and supporting the Talent Partners and the rest of the People Team, you will take full ownership for all aspects of administration and coordination relating to talent acquisition, including advertising roles, keeping our ATS system up to date, arranging interviews, scheduling tests and ensuring all candidates have a brilliant recruitment experience at carwow - whether or not they are hired.

This could be the perfect opportunity for someone who has some previous exposure to Recruitment administration/coordination to fine tune their skills in a growing and exciting company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling phone screens and interviews, sending interview confirmations, candidate information packs and tests
  • Delivering an exceptional candidate experience at all times and finding ways to wow our candidates throughout the process
  • Helping to keep our Applicant Tracking System (Workable) up to date and accurate, including advertising roles on the careers page, relevant external job boards and social networks (e.g LinkedIn)
  • Keeping a close eye on feedback, and ensuring we are sending out timely communications to candidates when they have not been successful or updates on roles as needed
  • Ensuring the referencing process runs smoothly
  • Sending new starter gifts
  • Managing the Talent inbox and responding to speculative queries
  • Supporting the Head of Talent and wider team with ad hoc work, e.g helping to research/resource for specific roles or events, assisting with pulling together content for social platforms or wider projects

Requirements

ABOUT YOU

You will have:

  • Ideally you’ll have some exposure to Talent Acquisition coordination within a fast paced business so that you can hit the ground running in our busy team. If you’ve worked in startups, or high growth businesses - all the better but we are open on experience!
  • You know your way around various ATS platforms - we use Workable at carwow

And will be:

  • Highly organised with a keen eye for attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with a sense of urgency
  • Passionate about delivering a quality candidate experience
  • A good communicator, confident enough to work with stakeholders of all levels
  • A team player, happy to flex what you do in line with business and team needs
  • Able to understand the why and importance behind everything you do - admin bits of your role aren’t just "admin" to you. You understand how everything from timely, well written communications to candidates and smooth processes can make all the difference in attracting the best talent
  • Someone who enjoys looking for better ways of working and likes suggesting new ideas
