As part of The Hut Group (THG), Acheson amp; Acheson are an award winning South West of England based developer, manufacturer and supplier of premium skincare, haircare and cosmetics. This is a fast-growing and exciting environment, with multiple product launches occurring throughout the year.
Due to further expansion we are looking for a Business Intelligence Developer / Engineer to take ownership of and drive forward the development of Acheson amp; Acheson’s BI Systems. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to develop this function and drive it forward.
This role is a full time position, based at one of our Trowbridge (Wiltshire) offices.
The core responsibilities of this role will be to develop, deploy and maintain Acheson amp; Acheson’s Business Intelligence, Management information systems and reports.
In Summary:
- Interact with the business and translate user requirements into technical specifications
- Design amp; Maintain departmental KPI dashboards
- Provide Ad-Hoc reports and data exports from our multiple data sources
- Maintain Existing suite of reports
- Design / Maintain a Data Warehouse to centralise reporting data
- Evaluate and improve our current reporting systems
- Develop SQL queries and stored procedures
- Create and Maintain technical documentation
- Propose and Introduce new BI technologies to the business.
Requirements
- Experience as a BI Developer using the Microsoft BI stack including SQL Server (2016 2019), SSIS, SSAS, SSRS
- Strong SQL amp; TSQL development Skills
- Experience in Configuring SQL Server Replication
- Knowledge of SQL Query Performance Optimisation
- Experience in Data Warehouse Design
- Knowledge of OLAP and Kimball Methodology
- Sage200 / SageX3 Experience
- Experience of BI Reporting tools (Crystal, SSRS, Tableau, etc.)
