Job Description

Who are Kïdo?

Are you looking for a new and exciting opportunity? Why not work for an amazing International Nursery who are fun, cultured, and supportive of your career progression.

Joining Kïdo means that you’ll be welcomed into a people driven, ambitious and caring team. We’re global in our scope and ambition, but our core values mean that we can create a nurturing and safe environment where ambitious motivated people can grow. We take elements from Montessori, Reggio Emilia and Waldorf Steiner, and combine them with beautiful learning spaces and 21st century technology. Our customized experiences are the most effective way for children to develop their cognitive, social, physical and creative abilities. Our vision is to create a truly modern Early Years environment that meets the needs of both children and their parents.

About the School:

Our Clerkenwell nursery is set in a converted church hall, with large outdoor play spaces and a specially designed building for babies complete with its own garden.

The main building houses our toddlers and preschool rooms, with one entire floor given to each age group. The tall windows and skylights ensure natural light all day. The nursery opens out to a huge garden, divided into themed areas for natural play and gardening, turf and sports. We were rated "OUTSTANDING" by the borough of Islington and 9.9 on Day Nurseries.

What is the role?

As Toddler Room Leader you will be responsible for ensuring that Kïdo are always providing the highest quality of care and education and the children have a safe and secure learning environment. You’ll work continuously to make sure that you and your team recognise and deliver the needs for every student. You’ll take responsibility for working together and translating learning outcomes into daily classroom practise for you and your team. You’ll work closely with the managers in the nursery to ensure that Kïdo are delivering the absolute best that they can and to give recommendations about how they can improve their offerings and to always push the boundaries of excellence.
