About the Role

The new Production Department Team Manager will be responsible for the ever-growing, fast-paced Print-on-Demand production team. At THG, we encourage and promote growth and exploration within your role and as such, the below list gives only a summary of the role remit:

  • Responsibility for the day to day running of the production department.
  • Management of staff across a 24/hrs/7-day per week shift pattern.
  • Ensuring all customer orders are produced within SLA.
  • Ownership of Department Quality.
  • Generation and reporting of all Department KPI’s.
  • Communication of department status and priorities to wider team and SLT.
  • Management of department consumable stock levels.
  • Machine care and maintenance of all department machines.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • New product development testing and reporting.
  • Ensuring all Hamp;S policies and procedures are followed.
  • Creating and implementing SOP's for all production tasks.
  • Raising PO's for department spends and tracking spend.

Requirements

  • Previous experience leading/supervising a team in a production environment.
  • Previous experience in printing and/or garment customisation.
  • Understanding and experience of Lean/Six Sigma manufacturing techniques.
  • Managing multiple tasks simultaneously and able to hit deadlines
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP software.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Can follow set safety procedures.
  • Can work collaboratively in a team.
  • Able to work shifts Monday - Friday (07:30 - 16:30)
