About the Role

The Assistant Brand Manager is responsible for supporting global brand strategy as well as providing key tactical plans / reporting, and leading strong product and campaign activity. Responsible for the brand and UK focussed marketing mix, working across business functions to review and continuously optimise brand health. The Assistant Brand Manager is also supporting the Brand Manager actively in driving and implementing brand driving / initiatives and projects. The role is based full time in our Manchester HQ.

Responsibilities

· Delivering effective locale focused campaign plans built on strong business cases, with innovative concepts and marketing stories

· Coordinating and leading key support functions in the development of campaigns and BAU activity. i.e design, social, content, PR to deliver against the pipeline of global projects

· Responsible for preparation of market research for own brand periodically and following up performance on brand and competitors. Deliver strong analysis on NPD performance to aid key decision making

· Leading key support functions i.e technical, supply, finance, in the development of products to deliver against global brand projects

· Supporting and sometimes leading on effective product pipeline built on strong strategic businesses cases

· Responsible for the adherence and execution of global brand guidelines

· Support Brand Manager on strategic direction by inputting strong data and insight-led analysis

KPI’s

· Brand Performance including revenue, EBITDA, awareness, sentiment

· Delivering quality locale 360 brand assets with agility and effectiveness

· Supporting BM in management of campaign guidelines and recommendations

· Anticipating market and consumer needs and responding with effective solutions

· Supporting BM ins key marketing ‘sell in’ materials to support wider business functions (i.e sales) in their activities

· Constantly reviewing locale focused competition and compiling monthly report on pricing, positioning, placement

· Supporting BM in their key activities

Requirements

· Experience working as an established Brand Marketing Executive or above is essential, ideally within the beauty or FMCG industry

· A passion for beauty

· Shown leadership skills even in cross functional work

· Team player with ability to work independently and take initiative

· Strong business acumen

· Able to work under pressure and to deadlines

· Strong communication and presentation skills

· Highly organised

· Dynamic and motivated

· Analytical and thorough

· Proactive and enthusiastic
