We are looking for a full-time Audit and Compliance Manager to join our Clinical/ Governance team and be a key player in growing our suite of digital products.

Working as part of a dynamic team, you will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer (COO), Chief Executive Office (CEO) and Chief Nurse (CN) to support the compliance process in relation to the Care Inspectorate regulatory requirements, and in line with the NHS requirements and standards for audit.

You will demonstrate excellent organisational skills, must be flexible in approach to meet the demands of the organisation across all parts of the UK and be able to work independently, using discretion, judgement and critical analysis where appropriate.

You will be instrumental in the provision of intuitive data to support change and progression within the organisation.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To lead in the internal audit process of Florence and assist the relevant departments in identifying gaps within the internal processes.
  • Liaise with the COO, CEO and CN as required and all Heads of Department in order to undertake internal audits and communicate complex information in relation to compliance and conformance of procedures and organisational policy.
  • Analyse current practises and systems within Florence and work with colleagues to design and produce relevant audit data.
  • Encourage a supportive audit culture across Florence in which people feel empowered and committed to meeting the required audit standards.
  • Ensure that up-to-date written and electronic records are maintained in accordance with professional, quality management, and organisational standards.
  • Use of proficient IT skills to maintain spreadsheets, reports and office documentation as directed to assist with data quality monitoring and cleansing where appropriate
  • Work with all Heads of Department to facilitate the development and monitoring of action plans in response to compliance audits and inspections, where relevant.
  • Support the CN and Governance Manager to review and implement policies relating to internal operational systems within the organisation.
  • Analysis of a range of data and interpretation of data into different formats to produce reports and presentations where required relating to internal audit standards.
  • Where required, support the review of organisational policies to ensure the most up to date information is incorporated into the policy.
  • Work cohesively with the COO, CEO, CN and all Heads of Department to design and implement processes that reflect current practice and policy within the organisation.

Requirements

  • Experience with developing business processes to strengthen adherence to tight timeframes
  • Experience of implementing office systems, policies and procedures
  • Data collection and interpretation.
  • Experience of working within healthcare focused environment
  • Demonstrable experience in dealing with sensitive and confidential information
  • Administrative experience including proficient IT skills, data input, preparing and presenting reports.
  • Knowledge of the Social Care Sector
  • Clear communicator - capable of constructing and delivering clear information/instructions to the team and clients where required
  • Ability to think laterally and problem solve
  • Ability to initiate change and enlist support from the internal team for this purpose
  • Adaptable and flexible with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines as defined by self and leadership team
  • Motivated and focused upon achieving results
