Job Description

Do you care? Really care? Because we are looking for people who do!

If you think you have what it takes to be a Mobile Carer, why not join our dedicated response team at one of our bases in Wiltshire and enjoy a career which could well be the most rewarding you have ever had?

There are many benefits to joining our team, for example: the hourly rate has enhancements for unsocial hours; there are plenty of training and development opportunities and we have a generous holiday entitlement to name but a few of them.

We call our carers’ ‘Mobile Responders’ and we are looking for well-balanced and compassionate individuals with experience of working with the general public to join our dedicated team. You will be provided with everything you need and drive our new, modern, well equipped vehicles so you will need to have a full UK Manual Driving License.

We have helped move Service Users after a fall using the latest lifting equipment. We have helped to get Service Users out of hospital and back home where they want to be by providing the care they need or have been able to prevent a hospital admission in the first place and we also provide our Responders with a tracking device so that we can follow their movements and know that they are safe at all times.

If it’s a normal 9-5 job you are looking for then this may not be the job for you! We support our Service Users 24 hours a day 7 days a week and our shift patterns reflect this. You will be helping people in their homes and you may also be called upon to administer personal care, prompt medications and support patients and their families through end of life care.

Our dedicated Response service is committed to delivering the best possible patient centered care for the people of Wiltshire . You don’t need to be medically trained but if you require clinical advice you can call the Clinical Assessment Service at our Head Office who will ensure you have all the support you need.

These are very challenging times for everyone and the safety and wellbeing of all our team is very important to us. All of our staff who work face to face with our Service Users are provided with all the appropriate PPE and training on how to use it to ensure their safety.

For a full job description or for further information please call our recruitment team on 0800 6444 200 or email

An Enhanced DBS will be required by the successful applicants and the Company will provide this.

The rate of pay starts a 9.21/hour (with enhancements) and goes up as you progress through probation and the training/qualifications that are required.
