As a result of these challenging times MEDVIVO are looking to recruit additional Urgent Care Assistants on a part-time basis on a temporary to permanent contract.

You will play a key role in the Integrated Urgent Care service by providing a professional, responsive central point of reference for all patient contacts and clinicians at both the Designated Treatment Centre and to the wider Urgent Care Service.
You will be expected to work unsupervised and exercise initiative whilst carrying out a combination of driving and reception work to support the efficient operation of the Urgent and Ambulatory Care Service. This involves assisting with the handling of calls, general administrative and reception duties, performing daily checks of drugs, stock and equipment for the service vehicles and driving clinicians to visit patients at home.
You will interact with patients, carers, Medvivo staff (including clinicians, drivers and shift supervisors) and designated treatment centre staff in order to assist Medvivo in the delivery of safe and effective care. You report to the Integrated Urgent Care Team.
As our operation runs around the clock, 365 days of the year, you’ll need to bring a flexible approach to working hours because our shift patterns include weekends, overnights and Bank Holidays.
