MEDVIVO are looking to recruit additional Urgent Care Driver/Receptionists to work in our base at Keynsham and possibly be deployed to a variety of our other bases
You will play a vital role in getting our medical professionals to where they need to be which ensures we can always deliver our commitment to high quality care. In return, you will enjoy working with an exceptional team in a role that’s more rewarding than most.
You will also be responsible for ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy, stocked with essential equipment, completing administrative tasks and supporting the team as necessary.
In this out of hours role you will be transporting clinicians safely to patients in their homes and while mobile, take calls from our call centre, passing appropriate information to the clinicians.
In addition, you will support other members of the Medvivo team undertaking various duties to ensure the smooth running of the service e.g. reception duties, chaperoning clinicians where required and security of vehicles at all times.
You will have considerable driving experience and be a confident and safe driver who knows the locality and can remain calm under pressure. While an advanced driver qualification would be an advantage, more important are good literacy, PC skills and numeracy - essential to completing paperwork and maintaining records. You’ll also be a people person who can work effectively as part of the team, even when dealing with challenging situations. Experience of working in a health care setting is desirable but not essential.
Hourly rate : 8.81 + enhancements
