This newly created position is an exciting opportunity for an organised, processes driven, ambitious person with a high level of customer service to join our business. Our business services team play a critical part in our organisational success.
As a business services assistant, you will join our tailored training program collaboratively delivered by our in-house Lamp;D and management teams to give you the skills, tools and confidence to be successful in your role! You will act as a brand ambassador demonstrating excellent customer service skills in all interactions with your colleagues and those that call or visit our office.
The Role
This is a varied role and requires flexibility to deliver cyclical objectives alongside ad hoc projects:
- A brand ambassador offering a professional, efficient, friendly experience to all stakeholders
- Efficient switchboard management of inbound calls, inbound emails and phone messages
- Collection and posting of outbound mail, sorting and distributing of inbound mail
- CV formatting and updating the applicant tracker system (ATS)
- Reception duties including managing room bookings, welcoming visitors, refreshment management, ensuring visitor registration documents are gathered and processed
- Ensuring our clean office is well presented and all facilities are prepared in advance
- Check standards of cleaning and report any problems to manager
- Stock management of all office supplies and making orders to replenish as needed
- Become an expert point of contact for all administration duties and provide proactive support
- Diary management, expense management, advert approvals and PowerPoint support
- Event coordination and delivery of weekly ad hoc projects as required
- Issuing reports for the business on a cyclical and ad hoc basis
- Engaging in all training modules delivered for job specific training and your personal development training
- Developing strong internal relationships with your colleagues to deliver against objectives

The Profile
- Relevant office based work experience is a distinct advantage
- An ambition to learn and develop new skills in a high performing, fast-paced environment
- Detail orientated with experience in writing, editing and saving documents online
- Strong organisational skills, a process driven mindset and the ability to prioritise tasks
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and a track record of excellent customer service
- A team player that enjoys working with colleagues to achieve goals
- Microsoft Suite Basic/Beginners, essential
