Job Description

Corin is seeking a Global Product Manager who will work within the marketing team in parallel with your Global Marketing Manager and Sales teams to drive sales with new and existing customers. This role will be based in Cirencester, UK but we are flexible on the location of the ideal candidate in the UK as long as they can travel to Cirencester as and when required.

Corin is a medical device business with innovative robotically assisted platforms for joint replacement surgery. Corin offers a unique combination of clinically proven hip amp; knee solutions and world leading technologies, our OMNIBotics amp; OPS systems utilize intelligent instrumentation to give surgeons the ability to perform patient-specific procedures with high accuracy, with more consistent results and improved recovery rates.

The key responsibilities of the Global Product Manager - Hip are to:

  • Manage all aspects of marketing support for the products within the product manager’s portfolio on a global basis.
  • Drive portfolio reviews and product life cycles.
  • Define portfolio opportunities (new and life-cycle enhancements).
  • Develop key opinion leaders.
  • Deal with all forecasting requirements for existing products.
  • Plan launch programs working with each targeted market.
  • Provide comprehensive training packages for each market and their customers.
  • Manage production of all sales support material.
  • Creativity is a key aspect of the role, both in branding and in the evolution of novel marketing techniques.
  • Provide targeted support for key markets on a structured basis.
  • Attend key international meetings / exhibitions.
  • Host overseas surgeon visits to key Centres of Excellence around the globe.
  • Host subsidiary and distributor visitors.
  • Develop comprehensive modular training packages for the Corin Academy.
  • Initiate and develop surgeon meeting programmes.
  • Launch and drive product user / steering group meetings.
  • Develop case studies for websites / publications and PR.
  • Develop all website content and marketing collaterals to support their global brands.
  • Gather market intelligence and analysing data for project viability.
  • Involved in the Stage gate process for product resource justification.
  • Follow all SOPs for instrument and implant development.
  • Define a business case for each NPI for each market.
  • Agree project frameworks with the Product Development department.
  • Manage development and evaluation process.
  • Project managing key development projects including liaising with technical, regulatory, manufacturing and sales departments.
  • Work with key opinion leaders throughout the development process.
  • Organise development / user / steering group meetings with key opinion leaders.
  • Being the first point of contact for product-related enquiries.
  • Compile market data in support of portfolio products, including market positions, shares, target growth, for senior management.
  • Review journals and other publications.
  • Generate product and marketing bulletins as required and ensure circulation.
  • Collect and disseminating competitor information.
  • Manage the production of all marketing materials (including sales brochures, operative technique brochures, technical information booklets, white papers, sales presentations, technical PowerPoint presentations, competitor product information, features amp; benefits charts, sample sets, demo instrument kits, appropriate exhibition samples and models.
  • Produce structured, modular sales training programmes with complete training manuals.
  • Adherence to Quality Management System (QMS) requirements in line with Corin’s ISO13485 QMS amp; Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) FDA21 CFR Part 820.
  • Ensure that process and timeline requirements for Corrective amp; Preventive Actions (CAPA) are met in accordance with Corin’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and in support of Corin’s Global Objectives for CAPA.


Requirements

As a Global Product Manager, you will ideally have

  • Marketing, sales or Ramp;D background within the orthopaedic market ideally working on a hip or knee portfolio.
  • Degree level equivalent in Biomedical engineering, Life Sciences or similar.
  • Extensive experience of working within a theatre environment
  • Confident and professional communication skills.
  • Results orientated and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work autonomously across sales and marketing teams.
  • Able to drive a marketing strategy with confidence and autonomy.
  • Flexible on location but travel to Cirencester will be required, as well as travel abroad.
