Job Description

Corin is seeking a Human Resources (HR) Apprentice to administer and co-ordinate HR related activities. You will be working in a highly confidential area of the business within the UK HR team reporting to the Senior HR Manager ensuring that we deliver the best HR experience to all new and existing employees This will be an initial 18-month fixed term contract and you will complete a level 3 HR Support apprenticeship. This role will be based in our head office in Cirencester, Gloucestershire.

The key responsibilities of the HR Apprentice are to.

  • Assist in preparation of HR documents, letters, and communications.
  • Maintain and update confidential personnel hard copies and internal databases in accordance with confidentiality and GDPR guidelines.
  • Prepare employment letters, contracts, and new starter packages
  • Issue access cards for new employees and replace cards for existing employees.
  • Administer and co-ordinate the referencing process before the employee commences employment.
  • Co-ordinate the induction process including the creation of employee induction packs.
  • Organise and coordinate the monthly new starter greeting.
  • Manage monthly probation reminders for Line Managers.
  • Manage the Electronic Training Management System (ETMS), this is UK employee accessible system which records all training activity.
  • Any other ad-hoc HR Administrative and co-ordination duties.
  • Adhere to Quality Management System (QMS) requirements in line with Corin’s ISO13485 QMS amp; Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) FDA21 CFR Part 820.
  • Ensure that process amp; timeline requirements for Corrective amp; Preventive Actions (CAPA) are met in accordance with Corin’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and in support of Corin’s Global Objectives for CAPA.


    Requirements

    The ideal HR Apprentice will have the following skills and competencies.

    • A Maths and English GCSE or equivalent at grade 4 or above
    • Committed to completing an HR Support Apprenticeship
    • Enthusiastic to work in a HR team and understand the importance of confidentiality.
    • High attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability.
    • A problem solving, solutions-based approach.
    • Good communication skills - both written and verbal across all levels.
    • Flexible and adaptable.
    • Strong work ethic.
    • Knowledge and experience of office-based systems including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
