As a new role within the agency overseeing creative output globally, the Experience Lead will be building out and leading our full-service creative studio focused on IoT innovation programmes - an even blend of connected packaging work alongside connected devices and retail installations.
This job is all about creative output: internal and client-facing.
This role will be responsible for strengthening a multi-disciplinary creative function, including design strategy, user research and user experience design.
- Lead the studio team
- Head the team focused on building digital experiences and products, encompassing design, UX, UI, strategy and product people
- Build on our talented team whilst leading and empowering them to grow and develop
- Serve as a coach and mentor to the creative team

- Own the creative output and ensure we deliver the very best, award winning work.
- Lead the integrated design delivery from inception through to construction
- Strengthen all phases of the design process, including research, conceptual design, prototypes, visual design and usability testing
- Build a strong creative culture and help create experience, services and products that enrich people’s lives and deliver to our client objectives.
- Accountable for creative delivery and quality design output across all projects
- Support our growth plans
- Help to set the creative design vision within the UK and global SharpEnd business.
- Leveraging your expertise and network to hunt for new opportunities
- Lead the creative response across new business opportunities and support the conversion of opportunities.
- Drive creative workshops and lead from the front
Requirements
- Background spanning both the design and strategy creation of digital experience, products and services
- Experience across FMCG/CPG, Beauty, Fashion and Luxury
- Leadership experience in growing and nurturing teams
- Measurable achievements in developing accounts within an agency/consultancy environment
- Ability to lead the hands-on creation and design of experiences, products and services, from proposition strategy through to design implementation
- Leadership skills and a proven track record of growing and fostering the culture of creative teams, including coaching and mentoring
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and an analytical mind with a focus on customer centred design
- Great client and stakeholder management skills to influence across multiple teams at all levels
