Job Description

Hello, we’re Treatwell.

Here at Treatwell, we are changing the way people book their hair and beauty services. Today we are the biggest beauty bookings platform in Europe working with over 25,000 salons, processing several million orders per month and operating across 11 countries.

Our success to date is down to 450 passionate and brilliantly-talented people working together to harness the power of beauty, and the beauty of technology.

However, we are not even close to being done. Today, less than 2% of hair and beauty is booked online - that’s tiny. We believe that booking online is inevitable and our mission is to give every customer their perfect hair and beauty experience, and to revolutionise an industry.

The Role

We are looking for a technical amp; performance-driven Paid Social Marketing Manager to join an international team of 5. Our Performance Marketing team is responsible for the strategy, planning and execution of all paid online marketing initiatives across Treatwell’s 11 markets. Reporting to the Performance Marketing Lead, you will be working closely with the Brand, Communications and Analytics teams. We have been doing a lot of exciting things on paid social - we did lift tests before it was cool, we work with a machine learning agency to hone in on our targeting, and even wrote a script in Python for Gaussian distribution of our budget.

You will:

  • Innovate on our paid social channels to drive cost-effective growth for our B2B (salons) and B2C (clients) customers.
  • Take full ownership of the paid social channels, including monitoring, reporting, and troubleshooting any issues, championing the channel and being the go-to contact for the larger marketing team.
  • Regularly test the channel with different creatives, audiences, tools, methodologies.
  • Clearly communicate the results of your initiatives and tests.
  • Support local country teams with advertising strategy (targeting, optimisation, creative direction, etc.), innovation adoption (support with new products - eg messenger ads, lead forms), ad-hoc troubleshooting, and tracking.
  • Lead on forecasting and planning, as well as developing and growing our paid social proposition in the UK and internationally.
  • Execute campaign creation and asset uploads for their channels (most of it has been automated already though).
  • Consult other channels, especially when it comes to technical issues including feeds, API integrations, pixel implementations, and SDKs troubleshooting.

About you:

  • You have client-side performance marketing experience within a relevant business.
  • You can demonstrate a self-starter attitude and are comfortable in a fast paced, changing environment.
  • You take responsibility and like to receive and deliver feedback.
  • You are technologically minded, and have experience integrating Facebook with tools like Salesforce and Pardot; you’re comfortable with using Python.
  • You’re curious and like to ask questions so that you can innovate and collaborate with your team, constantly raising the bar.
  • You have a solid understanding of the paid performance landscape. If you have done things outside of paid social, or started different platforms, we would like to hear about it!
  • You have great verbal and written communication skills in English, and can articulate your ideas and results clearly.

Perks

  • 4 hours’ weekly learning and development time.
  • Regular workshops to sharpen your skills.
  • Flexible holiday policy - we don’t count how many days you’ve taken
  • Kitchen stocked with breakfast, fruit and soft drinks (when we’re back in the office)
  • Benefits platform offering childcare vouchers, cycle to work scheme, high street discounts and more
  • Enhanced parental pay
  • Enhanced pension
  • Work alongside a talented, entrepreneurial team in a lovely Central London office (WC1V)
  • Fantastic parties and social events
