Reporting into the Compliance Operations Manager, you will understand the value the compliance operations functions have in delivering key business objectives and have the foresight to spot opportunities to innovate and develop new ways of operating.
What you’ll do
- Conduct Customer and Enhanced Due Diligence activities for corporate and consumer accounts at registration and on the back of trigger events and periodic reviews
- Investigate alerts generated by the monitoring systems concerning customer transactions for unusual or suspicious activity
- Review PEP and Sanction referrals for clients and beneficiaries at registration and transactional level in line with Xe’s policy
- Utilise Xe’s tools to gather, analyse and interpret data from several sources including transactions, authorisations, financial data, third party data providers and online methods and determine if suspicious and/or fraudulent transactions were intended or occurred
- Provide day to day compliance operations assistance, support and information to all department units within Xe
- Maintain up to date knowledge and expertise on Xe’s core business activities and assist in the analysis of proposed business initiatives from a compliance operations perspective
- Strive towards continuous improvement of the compliance operations function
Requirements
- Educated to degree level or at least 1 years’ experience gained working within a similar role within the FX/Payments industry or within a similar regulated organisation
- Excellent communication skills, ability to build relationships and communicate effectively
- Strong organisational skills to enable identification of required tasks and deadlines and planning and prioritisation of these tasks in an appropriate manner
