As our Retail Channel Marketing Manager you will develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns and develop consumer-led POS campaigns for one of the nation's best loved brands and leading a fantastic team of retail marketers. How you'll make a difference

You'll lead the Retail Marketing team to support the delivery of strategic consumer and sales objectives, developing executable retail activation strategies and plans that successfully deliver campaigns across c. 44,000 retail outlets. You'll work closely with Marketing and Commercial teams to ensure that our strategies are delivered with maximum effectiveness, all underpinned by consumer, shopper and retailer insight. You understand the Retailer environment and shopper behaviour and combine with customer insight to deliver best in class integrated retail marketing plans and permanent point-of-sale solutions.


What you'll bring to the table

  • Proven experience in developing retail activation strategies for major consumer / retailer brands, across Multiples / Sectors / Formats and building executable retail plans
  • Proven track record of effectively influencing senior stakeholders to get alignment behind recommendations / make decisions
  • Experienced in managing teams (4-5 people)
  • Experience of leading cross functional teams and initiatives in both retail, category management and problem solving areas
  • Proven experience of effective presentation skills
  • Proven track record of successful project management skills
  • Proven experience of return on investment (ROI) analysis
  • Proven experience of multi-million budget management
  • Track record of using insight-led thinking to improve the effectiveness (ROI) of POS campaigns in UK Retail Channel
  • Strong knowledge of the UK Retail Sector, growth trends, store formats, shopper behaviour trends.
  • Experience of building excellent cross departmental relationships to drive better future plans and resolve current issues
  • Strong understanding of Point-of-Sale solution development and manufacturing
