We are looking for an ambitious and merticulous Accounts Assistant to join our team as we build the most creative and accessible clothing brand for pop culture fans everywhere.
Requirements
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all financial administration including recording and reconciling financial transactions Purchase ledger / Sales Ledger / Cashbook
- Purchase and sales ledger processing, including creating and processing sales invoices, processing, and scheduling purchase invoices payments
- Stock reconciliations amp; queries
- General ledger maintenance• Banking transactions
- To oversee all aspects of finance processing up to management accounts
- Assisting the Financial Controller with the completion of the financial month end
- Fixed asset management
- VAT
- Ad hoc finance reporting
Mandatory Skills amp; Experience
- Qualifications: min. AAT or equivalent - qualified/training (level 3/4)
- Experience with marketplaces / e-commerce platforms, Amazon and eBay etc. would be ideal
- Experience of working within an accounting environment.
- Experience with Xero
- Experience of handling financials in e-commerce marketplaces (Amazon / eBay)
- MS Office incl. Excel experienced user
- Fluent in written amp; spoken English. Must be articulate amp; capable of communicating across the whole spectrum of staff from the MDs to agency staff
- A self-starter amp; proactive, capable of acting independently and be confident in asking for guidance when required is a must
- Must be able to use own initiative to gain a business advantage
- Be capable of taking complex instructions, carrying these out to a high standard and making decisions in a timely manner
- Build and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues, superiors, and external partners.
Nice To Have
- Experience with Receipt Bank amp; Channel Advisor
Working Location
COVID-19 secure office in Loughborough or remote working subject to passing a full IT health check
