Omnipresent is ramping up operations globally, including hiring a fourth lawyer to help manage our global employment law needs and expanding the legal team more broadly so there couldn’t be a more exciting time to join us.
Who?
You will be a qualified lawyer (3-6 PQE) specialising in employment law, including managing cross-border employment issues, but will have the aptitude and desire to take ownership of a far broader range of work.

Your role
We're searching for a Junior - Mid-Level Associate with a strong operational mindset and an ability to resolve a wide range of complex matters across 150 jurisdictions, independently and by engaging local counsel.
You will:
- Advise our Sales and Customer Success teams on a wide range of employment law queries across 150 jurisdictions
- Obtain appropriate jurisdictionally-specific legal advice and manage external counsel where necessary
- Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of employment documents
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, including service agreements
- Other general corporate advisory work
- Solve unforeseeable issues, legal or otherwise, as they arise
Requirements
You:
- Have 3-6 PQE total, and consistently punch above your weight
- Have completed your training at a highly-regarded international law firm advising clients both domestically and internationally
- 3-6+ years PQE working specifically in your firm's employment department
- In-house or startups experience an advantage but not essential
- Additional languages an advantage but not essential
You are the sort of person that:
- Has exceptional understanding of employment law in your own jurisdiction
- Has experience working cross-border and on international employment law matters
- Is comfortable working with teams of international local counsel to obtain accurate legal data
- Has excellent legal and commercial acumen
- Is happy working outside your comfort zone
- Has excellent business sense and a pragmatic approach
- Is more of a "client lawyer" than a "technical lawyer"
