Here’s what you will do

Our experienced management consultants can ally technical competence with a pragmatic approach to delivering complex IT solutions leveraging agile ways of working. Our Agile Lead roles have highly tuned, multi-year, hands-on agile experience and competency that is complimented with an understanding of more heritage or waterfall project and programme management delivery. Your agile experience, coupled with consulting skills including client management, business development and hands-on technical / tooling skills, are key to enable our clients embed industry leading agile practices across products, projects, and programmes.

You will display a high degree of competence and proven track record in agile leadership and large scale programme/project delivery, demonstrable across one or more of our core capabilities, these include:

  • Agile Scrum Master skills proven in multiple situations or deliveries
  • Agile Product Ownership skills proven in multiple situations or deliveries
  • Agile Leadership, implementing agile into an organisation, including the design and creation of a new agile capability
  • Agile Coaching skills proven with engagement from individual level, through team to senior leaders, cultivating best practice and growing capabilities within firms
  • Agile event/ceremony best practice delivered to multiple teams to create continuous improvement in agile delivery, leveraging ‘psychologically safety’ techniques
  • Product and / or Service creation and road-mapping within an enterprise setting, explaining the value proposition and timelines for agile delivery

Requirements

Responsibilities

As a DMW consultant you will spend much of your time working on client site, often as part of a diverse team, made up of consultants, client staff and with a combination of contractors, vendor employees. DMW consultants frequently work as part of small teams or operating as an individual working directly to a senior client manager.

Requirements

You will be perceptive, personable, culturally sensitive and demonstrate a high degree of emotional intelligence. Being able to work collaboratively in a matrix organisation is essential, as is the ability to manage and nurture varied, senior stakeholder relationships.

You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate technical information easily to your audience.

As well as client delivery activity, each of our consultants gets involved with activities supporting the growth of DMW, for example thought leadership, networking and sales. You will work as part of internal teams, bringing new ideas and project managing internally facing activities of the business such as recruitment, marketing or external partner relationship management.
