Here’s what you will do (Not all of it, but some of the important stuff!)
- Solve the problems others cannot
- Spend a day a week working on a combination of internal products and your own development
- Create full stack experiences based around a modern, cloud-native tech stack:
- React and React Native
- JavaScript and TypeScript
- Node.js (incl. serverless)
- AWS, Azure or Google Cloud depending on the client
- Kubernetes
- Terraform
- And more
Requirements
The Essentials?- Demonstrable experience with React, JavaScript and HTML/CSS for front-end web experience development
- Demonstrable experience with JavaScript or TypeScript on Node.js for back-end API development
- Experience collaborating with designers and user experience specialists to develop new products and experiences
- Experience working within an agile, iterative engineering environment
- Willingness to work collaboratively
- Have a drive for self-improvement and learning new technologies
- Approach solving problems pragmatically
It would be great if you had these desirable skills:
- Experience with React Native for mobile experiences
- Experience in user interface design
- Familiarity with any JVM language (Java, Kotlin, Scala)
- Experience developing software using a TDD approach, and willingness to practice TDD
- Experience applying Continuous Delivery practices, including test automation, to deliver software to production
- Experience working with one of the main cloud providers (AWS, Azure or Google, with double points if you have worked with more than one)
