What can you expect as a Transformation consultantat DMW?
As a DMW Transformation Principal you will spend much of your time working on client site, often as part of a diverse team, made up of consultants, client staff and with a combination of contractors, vendor employees. Your role can vary: leading these diverse teams acting client side, providing assurance of the work undertaken by these teams, or operating within the teams with ownership of significant transformation elements. No two engagements are the same!
As well as client delivery activity, you can expect to get involved with activities supporting the growth of DMW, for example thought leadership, proposition and service development, networking and sales. You can expect to work as part of internal teams, bringing new ideas and project managing internally facing activities of the business such as recruitment, marketing or external partner relationship management.

We are seeking senior individuals who have strong transformation expertise with the expertise required to deliver value to our clients and credibility in specialist areas to underpin sales.
Typically, you’ll display a high degree of competence in technical programme/project delivery and across one or more of our core capabilities, these include:
- Transformation strategy and innovation
- Target operating model design and implementation
- Business change management and communications
- Operational improvements and readiness
- Transformation Quality Assurance
- You will also help develop and inspire our talent through coaching, mentoring and promoting DMW values of: Integrity, Intelligence, Personal Touch, Tenacity and Pragmatism within our firm and at our clients.
- Ideally you will also have relevant formal certifications (e.g. TOGAF, APMG Change Management, Prosci, 6 Sigma, MSP, Agile etc)
- Any experience In Financial Services, Energy, Public Services / Government sectors will be an advantage.
You are perceptive, personable, culturally-sensitive and demonstrate a high degree of emotional intelligence. Being able to work collaboratively in a matrix organisation is essential, as is the ability to manage and nurture varied, senior stakeholder relationships.
With your excellent written and verbal communication skills, you'll have the ability to communicate technical information easily to your audience.
Essential
- Significant experience in transformation roles on programmes of work at CxO level
- Comfortable as a Client partner/Account Manager ; regularly engages with their contact base
- Experience of running teams, guiding/coaching more junior colleagues in transformation methods such as strategy, business architecture and change management
- Commercially savvy from both a sales and delivery perspective
- Good insight into engagement risk identification and management
- Full programme lifecycle from business case and initiation through to implementation
