Job Description

IT’S TIME TO POWER UP BRITAIN

Now, more than ever, the UK needs full fibre networks to power up businesses and restart our economy. That’s why, even though the world has slowed down, we’ve been working faster than ever to build Gigabit Cities and deliver the digital infrastructure Britain needs to bounce back. With opportunities across the UK, there’s never been a more important time to join us, transform the way Britain connects and accelerate your career and the UK’s economic recovery.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

Location: Slough

We’re adopting a hybrid approach to our nationwide full fibre deployment by incorporating the existing Openreach infrastructure where necessary. This needs to be administered in accordance with Openreach requirements. As our Openreach Administrator, you’ll liaise between external and internal stakeholders, coordinating all aspects of the PIA administration and developing processes to support a successful city build as a key part of the regional team. You’ll also;

  • Manage and administer third party portals and systems to reserve capacity
  • Ensure supply chain personnel and associated accreditations are logged and managed
  • Manage life updates of works and associated network adjustments
  • Check, verify and manage As Built information with supporting evidence
  • Liaise closely with the Finance team for billing and forecasts

WHAT WILL YOU BRING?

You’ll have a solutions-focused attitude, excellent communication skills and the ability to predict and resolve issues quickly. We have bold plans and big goals, so we need somebody who shares our ambitions and can keep up with our fast pace. You’ll also have;

  • Experience in an administrative support role
  • The ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience of working in an office environment and liaising with clients
  • Experience of negotiating supplier contract terms and conditions would be desirable
  • Ideally, telecoms network experience
  • A-Level standard education

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?

Salary: 20,000 - 26,000

When you join our team, you’re building Gigabit Britain from the ground up, transforming the UK now and for future generations. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to bring Britain up to speed, to set the standard for innovation and to play a leading role in the success of our company, and our country.

You’ll also receive benefits including 25 days’ holiday, a day off on your birthday, bonus and private healthcare.
