Position Description:

In this role as Director of Commercial Operations amp; Technology you will play a critical role in the alignment of commercial strategy and execution to accelerate Evaluate’s Sales and Marketing transformation and growth. You will work closely with VP Commercial Operations and to support Global Sales Force Effectiveness and have the Sales Technology amp; Operations Senior Manager and the Data Operations Specialist as direct reports.

You will be instrumental in reinforcing best practices, streamlining processes, and optimizing technology and you will work closely with internal departments including Sales, Client Success, Marketing, Finance and IT. You will be responsible for the day to day management of the Commercial Operations team and must be able to develop and deliver the enablement of sales CRM, tools, and processes to support existing field sales, client success, partners; including scalable solutions to support an organization with expected double digit growth.

Key Goals:

  • Increased selling and service time through reduction in manual processes and improved automation through your efforts and leadership, we will transition current manual processes to be automated via technology to support improved contract generation, automated end-user provisioning, client query routing, forecasting
  • Improved customer experience though improved automation and faster service existing automated processes will be further optimized for efficiency, including lead routing, quoting, opportunity management (transition to Salesforce lightning), discounting, sales performance metrics
  • Better customer insights and improved reporting through more accurate and consistent data we will look to minimize data quality issues between systems via improved exception reporting to ensure system alignment
  • Faster and more successful technology deployments through a more coherent and connected architecture and set of processes


Requirements

What will you do:

  • Manage the delivery of all commercial operations platforms, processes and systems that support both the strategic and day-to-day operations in the commercial team (Sales, Marketing, Client Success)
  • Execute the strategy, rollout, and adoption of all sales tools and best practices; ensuring technology initiatives are optimized, efficient and aligned with company objectives and goals
    • Own full tech stack for Commercial teams including evaluation of effectiveness of tools including (Salesforce, InsightSquared, Zoominfo, Marketo, Brainshark, LinkedIn, Docusign, Jira, In-gage, etc)
    • Improve strategies to optimize existing tools across commercial teams; including contract production and pricing
    • Lead the development of tools and processes to support reporting of sales and marketing analytics, trend analysis, customer data etc.
    • Partner with Marketing Demand Generation function to ensure strong alignment of systems and processes to support customer communications, campaigns and overall commercial operations
  • Strive for continuous improvement and uniformity in commercial processes, procedure, and tools to improve Commercial effectiveness and recommends initiatives to accomplish such improvement
  • Drive data-driven decision processes within the commercial organization through:
    • Development and maintenance of a customer data management strategy
    • Implementation of data requirements to support the commercial data warehouse
    • Deployment of systems and processes that can enhance both strategic and tactical sales, marketing and client success objectives
    • Accountability for data integrity amp; GDPR Compliance across all commercial systems, including End User Provisioning
    • Requirements gathering with internal customers (Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Finance, etc.) to ensure data, platforms and reporting remain accurate and actionable
    • Optimization of lead management
