In our time within the games industry, we have worked on over 1500 titles across all genres and all platforms, including 8 out of the past 10 Game-Of-The-Year-winning titles.

SIDE works at the cutting edge of interactive media as a provider of audio services for the global entertainment market. Orange Rock is our in-house game and product development studio.

We are looking for intelligent, passionate, and knowledgeable Software Engineers that want to work with state-of-the-art technology, amazing innovative teams, and help transform the gaming industry.

Requirements
Essential:
- Strong professional experience in C++
- Passion and experience working with cutting-edge game development technology.
And, any of the following:
- Knowledge of C#
- Profiling and optimization skills
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Software Engineering or equivalent
- Knowledge of one or more CPU and GPU architectures and Console development experience
- Software development skills such as object-oriented design patterns, test-driven development, etc.
- Designing highly maintainable, structured, and documented code
- Background in real-time / time-critical systems amp; multiple hardware platforms preferably game platform hardware
- Knowledge of game physics and animation WPF and other GUI design experience
- Understanding of multithreaded architectures and synchronization principles
- Graphics or Video experience e.g. Image Processing, codecs, OpenGL, Direct3D, DirectX, etc.
- Debugging skills and experience using tools to help debug
- Experience in Agile (Scrum) project management and software development methodology, Python or tool development
- Generalist/Core Systems, Optimisation (CPU, Memory), Console Development, and AAA game / Engine experience.
