Operations are at the heart of our customers’ experience here at THG. We manufacture a wide range of sports nutrition and cosmetic consumer goods that we then despatch to our customers in over 200 countries worldwide from our purpose built, innovative Manufacturing and Distribution Centres.

Due to rapid growth, THG is looking to recruit a Continuous Improvement Engineering Lead with a strong STEM academic background or equivalent experience, and a keen interest in industrial operations. The CI Engineering Lead will join the CI team, based at THG’s Warrington site, leading operational improvement projects across FMCG Manufacturing and Fulfilment sites located globally.

Main responsibilities include:

• Analyse current processes and systems
• Identify new opportunities for improved ways of operating
• Project manage process improvement implementations
• Monitor success and ensure change is sustained

You will be expected to be creative and proactive in developing solutions and will working closely with all operations related departments, driving high quality change at a fast pace and forming a lasting impact.

Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity you should have the following skills / experience

• Degree qualification (ideally STEM)
• Experience leading CI projects in FMCG / E-commerce Fulfilment
• Project management experience
• Analytical and creative approach to problem solving
• Leadership amp; teamwork
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication
• Knowledge of best practices / lean / six-sigma methodologies
• Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint

You’ll need to be able to demonstrate strong examples where you have worked on improvement programmes, detailing each stage from source through to successful execution.
