About you
You’ll be instrumental in giving us a leading edge both in terms of user experience and technical development. You will be working collaboratively as part of our Digital Enablement team, working closely with our other developers, designers, stakeholders and end-users to challenge, contribute and drive our vision into reality.
This role will give you an opportunity to lead development teams in building comprehensive enterprise solutions, knowledge management solutions, visualisation and data transformation technologies - all improving the way organisations operate and share information.
Your focus will be to drive technical excellence and ensure we are developing technology in the right way with a heavy emphasis on quality aligned to the requirements described by stakeholders or product specs. Your expertise and input will absolutely be valued and encouraged across the entire project delivery lifecycle, not just the development activity; contributing ideas for improvement to the way we work is a must. You will:
- demonstrate technical leadership,

- ensure we are developing technology in the right way with a heavy emphasis on quality aligned to the requirements described by our clients or our product specs,
- be passionate about developing front and backend solutions that are resilient, secure and scalable,
- ensure best practices are adhered to with a passion for clean, maintainable code,
- work with team members to design and implement features and services,
- commit to high-speed iterations, high code quality, and continuous improvement,
- have experience in a multi-disciplinary environment, delivering products within tight timeframes,
- have an ability to quickly comprehend and convert business requirement into technical solutions,
- and have good sense of user experience and the ability to think autonomously to overcome challenges.

You must be able demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of design patterns, a passion for technology and code, team leadership and communication skills. You should aspire to be a leader in the field of web centric technologies with ambition and an appetite for continuous improvement.
We are a Microsoft aligned development team making having use of Azure and Microsoft 365 suite (namely SharePoint Online and Teams). Having experience with either of the platforms and the SPFX modern site webpart development framework is highly desirable.
