THE ROLE

We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic and organised marketer to spearhead our B2C amp; B2B email and CRM marketing efforts. We are growing rapidly, so you will receive plenty of responsibility/variety and play a key role in driving improvements across our onboarding and lead generation.

Candidates with 0-2 years relevant full-time experience will be considered at 'Marketing Executive' level. Candidates with 2-5 years relevant full-time experience will be considered at 'Marketing Manager' level.

You will report into Up Learn's Head of Marketing. In your first year, you will:

  • Maximise engagement amongst students and parents by optimising our messaging funnel and running regular tests to improve our metrics
  • Work alongside our Head of Business Development and our sales team to develop, iterate and automate high-quality lead generation and nurturing for our B2B function (teachers, schools, corporate clients)
  • Lay organised and well-structured foundations in our CRM to enable our company to work quickly and effectively
  • Collaborate with our product and customer experience teams (including our Head of CX) to deliver behaviour-based product messaging that ensures every Up Learn user gets the most out of Up Learn
  • Play a key role in delivering compelling website pages that enable Up Learn to deliver a great customer experience
  • Assist in defining Up Learn’s brand alongside our Head of Marketing

Requirements

  • [Marketing Manager level] You have 2-5 years of relevant full-time professional experience at a top-tier firm (blue-chip, VC-backed start-up, consultancy)
  • [Marketing Executive level] You have 0-2 years of relevant full-time professional experience
  • You have a strong academic track record, with a 2:1 or better from a top university (Russell Group, Ivy League or equivalent)
  • You have a keen eye for detail, a love of the English language, and an intimate understanding of all of its nuances
  • You are an outstanding communicator and wordsmith, and can engage and evoke emotions in others via your writing
  • You are a structured thinker with an ability to solve problems in a logical manner
  • You've been a leader, whilst at school, university or professionally
  • You’re comfortable being held responsible for the work of others, and the success of the company
  • You seek out ways to improve your work, view all well-intentioned criticism as information, and are comfortable working in an extremely high-frequency feedback culture
  • You are passionate about education and want to be part of an ambitious project with the potential to change the lives of millions of people
