Job Description

ZeroLight is seeking an ambitious Account Director to execute our sales strategy across key territories worldwide. We are looking for individuals with a proven history of delivering significant commercial deals within the automotive world.

This is a newly created role to meet increasing demand across automotive OEMs for ZeroLight’s software solutions. The successful candidate will be a driven, high energy individual, with existing automotive contacts who can identify and develop new growth opportunities, establishing strong relationships within key accounts, championing ZeroLight technology.

This is an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of the award winning ZeroLight team, working at the forefront of 3D technology and partnering with some of the biggest brands in the automotive business including VW, Audi amp; Lamborghini.

This is a remote working role which will involve regular visits to our Newcastle studio.

Requirements

The Role

  • Develop and grow the ZeroLight roster of clients with full responsibility for delivering annual sales revenue targets.
  • Create individual account strategies to drive sales across the client business.
  • Overall responsibility for delivering and maintaining excellent client relationships whilst being commercially accountable for the delivery of multi-year client agreements.
  • Drive the growth of ZeroLight through sales and client-led activities, ultimately closing deals with new and existing leads.
  • Demonstrate good technical knowledge with commercial expertise to predict and react to future trends within the automotive and tech industry.
  • Undertake disciplined sales practices including producing detailed client reports and tracking the commercial pipeline process on Salesforce.
  • Identify new growth opportunities by understanding and interpreting client needs and working with the UK product and development teams to advance these.

The Person

  • Demonstrable track record of developing, negotiating and delivering multi-million dollar deals within the automotive industry.
  • Personable and motivated, building strong professional relationships with existing clients to deliver revenue expansion.
  • Entrepreneurial, with the ability to work effectively on their own initiative in a rapidly changing and highly competitive marketplace.
  • Knowledgeable, with an understanding of the digital technology sector, particularly 3D visualisation and/or automotive.
  • Persuasive communicator, possessing outstanding presentation and negotiation skills.
