The role (what you’ll do)
We are looking for a Full Stack PHP Developer to sit within Dext Precision, working as part of our dedicated, talented team based in Bristol. The right person will have significant experience in web application development, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- New feature development and closely working with the Development Manager and Head of Technology to lay down foundations for future improvements
- Mentoring and guiding junior members of the team
- Application support, maintenance and monitoring
- Coordinating with the product team throughout the development lifecycle
- Performing code reviews
- Maintaining code quality and best practices
What we are looking for
- Strong programming and software architecture skills
- Broad knowledge of web technologies
- Solid understanding of web principles, security and scalability best practices
- Knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodologies
- Keen to join the team for monthly catch ups in Bristol - once it's safe to do so!
Ideal Skills
- PHP (Laravel), Javascript (Vue.js), Python, Docker
- Database management (SQL and MongoDB)
