Your job
As part of our ever-expanding operations function, we’re seeking an exceptional Regional Manager to join our team. This is a role that will be leading a team of Area Managers to open hubs across a region, building a network of drivers and support staff around them and ensuring that our night-time delivery service is world class.
As a high growth organisation, we need someone who strives for operational excellence, meets and exceeds business KPI’s, takes ownership over their role, leads from the front, and is tenacious above all else.
You will be responsible for:
- Opening 5 hubs in a given area and get them running to full capacity, ensuring that they are always in working order
- Managing a team of self-employed drivers and operation staff, ensuring that they hit delivery targets of 99% Perfect Order Score
- Identifying and training talent within the operation to promote workers internally
- Ensuring all the operation team are onboarded and trained to Modern Milkman standards (inc. Hamp;S, Delivery Standards, App, Customer Service, Food Hygiene)
- Managing and maintaining all vehicles to ensure they are always roadworthy and presentable
- Working with the internal Modern Milkman team to order, manage and maintain adequate stock levels, always following internal procedures and minimise waste
- Ensuring that all customer complaints are actioned within 24 hours
- Working with the Modern Milkman relationships team to improve the revenue and profitability of all routes
- Keeping all documentation up to date
- Managing hub performance and finances
- Route planning and management to ensure operational efficiency
