Job Description

What you’ll do

We’re looking for a HR Administrator to join our team on an initial 6-month fixed term contract. The role will start remotely, but when we return to the office, you'll be based in our Uppingham office in the East Midlands.

You’ll be joining the current HR team and will supporting them by providing administration support for HR activities across MMT Digital.

This will include:

  • Managing the new starter process from sending contracts to onboarding, working with line managers, heads of departments and other teams
  • Ensuring a great employee experience for all new joiners and supporting with any process improvements to improve the candidate experience.
  • Employee lifecycle administration including data management in the HR system and employee records.
  • Supporting the business with HR queries particularly around new starter inductions.
  • Gaining feedback to ensure employee satisfaction with the new starter process.

Alongside these responsibilities, you’ll also be providing admin support to several HR related projects including identifying and suggesting process improvements and ensuring HR compliance.

What you’ll bring

In order to flourish in this role, you will need the following:

  • Excellent administration experience and skills gained in a HR environment
  • Highly organised with a keen eye for detail
  • Confident communicator both in writing and verbally
  • Comfortable with simultaneously managing multiple different processes.
  • Proven record of proactively finding new ways of working.
  • The ability to thrive in an ever-changing and fast paced environment, able to think on your feet and manage changing priorities.
  • Passion to work hard and do an amazing job
  • A willingness to learn and develop
  • A team player, but also able to work on your own initiative.

It would also be great (but not essential) if you have:

  • Previous experience of working within a HR department.
  • Experience working with HR management systems
