Our Business Assurance function encompasses a number of supporting operations including Quality, Health amp; Safety, Environmental, Information Security and Enterprise Risk management. The team provides confidence to our Business that risks are being managed effectively through the implementation of appropriate management systems and associated controls. With the normal working environment being a dynamic one, there is significant opportunity to develop knowledge and capability across a wide range of business risks and business assurance / risk management in general.
The Business Assurance Consultant is a key role in the Business Assurance team, responsible for supporting the implementation of a wide range of our business management systems, including Quality, Health amp; Safety, Environmental and Information Security management. They establish how effectively our business controls are operating and help to instigate value-adding improvements when they are not.
Engaging with a range of stakeholders across the business, the Business Assurance Consultant is a trusted advisor on all matters relating to our established management systems. Reporting to the Excellence Lead, they will work closely with the other Business Assurance consultants in the team, as well as the Business Assurance Lead and domain experts.
