Job Description

Spotify is seeking a Field Marketing Associate to join the EMEA Field Marketing team based out of London. Spotify’s free tier is supported by advertising revenue and the Field Marketing team is responsible for growing awareness of and intent to buy advertising inventory on Spotify.
Working closely with partners across the organisation and in-market team members, you will help create compelling integrated marketing campaigns, inclusive of digital, social, and experiential extensions that align with narrative and research releases to drive awareness for our advertising offering on Spotify.
We are looking for an energetic self-starter and creative marketer who can build relationships across the organisation. You are resourceful, organised, have exceptional attention to detail and have the ability to develop well-defined processes to support effective project rollouts.

  • Coordinate virtual event logistics across our portfolio of experiences - from our Spotify-owned events, regional sponsorships, conferences, and activations. Responsibilities may include content development, production support, managing event pages, guest lists amp; invites, scheduling executive briefings, driving communication across internal cross-functional teams and external production agencies.
  • Coordinate with the UK Field Marketing Lead to identify in-market opportunities and organise recommendations on how to build scalable and innovative programs that drive education and inspiration around Spotify Advertising, and support sales teams in the market
  • Adapt and localise persuasive sales tools and programs for Spotify’s UK Sales team by ensuring sales narratives are consistent with the global story, but are culturally relevant locally
  • Work with key trade organisations to manage regional memberships and act as Spotify’s liaison
  • Assist in maintaining the market’s digital channels including social, paid media, website and monthly newsletters
  • Ownership of the UK awards strategy; research, identify and populate relevant industry awards to drive recognition of successful advertising campaigns on Spotify
  • Support global squads to build scalable, innovative digital programs to educate clients about the Spotify Advertising offering that tap into their consumer love of Spotify
  • Reconcile program, department, and event budgets; work closely with Procurement and Finance teams to ensure proper budget tracking and payments, including managing PO’s, setting up suppliers
  • Ideate, produce and organise branded merchandise, conduct inventory and manage storage
  • You will work out of our London office
Who you are
  • You have a BA in Marketing or an equivalent degree
  • You have 3+ years of experience in the digital media environment, in a similar B2B marketing role
  • You have extensive experience running complex live and digital events and projects with multiple deadlines
  • Know how to work both autonomously, as part of a small nimble team, and cross-functionally with different departments both locally and internationally
  • A proactive self-starter, willing to jump in and execute
  • Experience working with Sales teams and a history of strong internal relationships
  • A good understanding of the media landscape in the UK
  • The ability to mix creativity with strategic thinking and demonstrate strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • A consistent track record of project management from concept through implementation and completion
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Strong written communication and presentation skills
  • Experience using Keynote and Google Slides to craft Sales materials would be of particular benefit
  • Experience using Salesforce, Asana and SplashThat is highly regarded
