Job Description

Corin is seeking an Quality Assurance Administrator - Apprentice to support quality assurance related activities as detailed below, and to ensure ongoing conformity to standards, regulations and internal procedures. This being whilst developing associated skills and knowledge, in parallel with completion of the Quality Practitioner Apprenticeship. This is an initial 18 month fixed term contract with the opportunity to progress to a permanent role for the right candidate.

The key responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Administrator - Apprenticeare to:

  • Manage the maintenance of the Electronic Training Management System (eTMS) and report on performance.
  • Review completed batch records (DHR’s) and release for stock, in accordance with documented work instructions and checklists.
  • Liaise with all departments, as necessary to resolve and clarify any points of issue resultant from DHR.
  • Maintenance of records to ensure safe storage with efficient and effective retrieval to include co-ordination of off-site records.
  • Perform transactional activities within relevant systems/software - Sage, QPulse, Mestec, Teamcenter etc.
  • Support creation and trending information in relation to key performance indicators (KPI’s)
  • Administrative management and support of the Change Control process and associated transactional activities.
  • Assist with document issuing and distribution.
  • Support the management and maintenance of standards.
  • Support non-conformance creation and tracking for areas including but not limited to: - Supplier NC, Device History NC
  • Support project-based activities within quality assurance and for ongoing promotion of compliance and improvement.
  • Assist and support any relevant duties in relation to quality assurance as required.
  • Adhere to Quality Management System (QMS) requirements in line with Corin’s ISO13485 QMS amp; Good Manufacturing practice (GMP) FDA21 CFR Part 820
  • Ensure that process amp; timeline requirements for Corrective amp; Preventive Actions (CAPA) are met in accordance with Corin’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and in support of Corin’s Global Objectives for CAPA.

Requirements

The ideal Quality Assurance Administrator- Apprenticewill have:

  • Good standard of education with a minimum grade of C or update in Maths and English GCSE’’s or equivalent.)
  • Commitment to completing a quality practitioner apprenticeship in quality standards over a year to 18 months.
  • Strong administrative skills including good IT and software skills.
  • The ability to work well under pressure whilst still being accurate and consistent.
  • Strong organisational skills.
