About The Role
The role of the Pre-Offer Case Manager is to take responsibility for a pipeline of long term Buy-to-Let mortgage cases from application to offer. Throughout this process the Case Manager will be the main point of contact for brokers and must demonstrate the ability to exceed expectations and deadlines, whilst providing excellent service that encourages repeat business.
You will be responsible for packaging the cases and compiling the files in preparation for Underwriter assessments. The packaged case must have a high standard of supporting documentation and data accuracy.
Day to Day Duties
- Managing a strong pipeline of BTL mortgage cases
- Promptly carrying out robust due diligence searches on the borrower and property for each case
- Instructing and liaising with valuers
- Packaging cases within defined SLAs and demonstrating an in depth understanding of the case
- Flagging any potential issues to assist underwriters with their assessments and approvals
- Managing inbound and outbound communication by telephone and email, and promptly chasing outstanding information
- Understanding Lending Policy and spotting cases that do not meet criteria
- Assisting brokers with the application process and ensuring responses are prompt and professional as well as providing updates at every stage of the application process
- Keeping case files and related data fully up to date and 100% accurate
- Proactively managing your pipeline and chasing outstanding tasks to ensure cases are ready for offer
- Managing updates to case notes and tasks
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with Brokers and other intermediaries that support further business growth
- Preparing for and contributing to team meetings and assist with improvements to processes and systems changes

About You
- A proactive and diligent attitude
- Sound judgement
- Proven experience of dealing with a high volume workflow and prioritising accordingly
- Excellent administration, computer literacy and communication skills with a good eye for detail
- Ability to form strong and positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Able to demonstrate a good understanding of Credit Referencing Agency reports, KYC, AML and fraud prevention systems
- Experience of mortgage case management (an advantage)
- CeMap qualified (an advantage)
