Netacea is a Manchester based business providing a revolutionary bot management solution that protects websites, mobile apps and APIs from malicious attacks such as scraping, credential stuffing and account takeover. Netacea was recently categorised by Forrester as a leader in this rapidly expanding market.
Due to our continued growth we are looking for a Head of Delivery to take a leading role in ensuring that our developers and data scientists are happy, productive and improving Netacea as the leading product in the industry.

Requirements
Netacea is looking to recruit a senior team member to oversee and direct the delivery team (developers, data science, testers, product owners and delivery manager) to ensure that Netacea is delivering products effectively and efficiently, in line with agreed strategic and tactical roadmap while minimising technical debt and other wasted effort.
This is an important position that will ensure that the ambitious product improvement plans needed to support the current and future levels of customer growth are being delivered, that the delivery team are happy and productive and that communication and interaction with the rest of the business is effective.
This role will take responsibility for line management and career progression of the team (either directly or indirectly) and will take ultimate responsibility for recruitment and resource management across the delivery team.
Duties
- Supporting effective process and structure across the team
- Ensuring that process is being followed
- Supporting an effective, positive culture within the team
- Providing effective metrics and progress reports on team progress to steering group and board
- Managing external suppliers as required
Requirements
- Hands on experience of running a development / delivery team of less than 100 people
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and development process best practices
- Hands on experience with scaling a software delivery team and mentoring team members
- Experience of the different challenges of working with a data driven product and data science team
- Experience of working in start-up/scale-up business looking to establish and expand a product in a fast moving and changing market
- Ability to communicate with the rest of the business and investors to understand the commercial realities and to be able to communicate how these are being addressed by the delivery function
Desirable
- Experience working on a cyber security product
- Experience in working in a B2B SaaS product
- Familiarity with concepts associated with building a big data and machine learning product
