We’re looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer to join our small but growing UX/UI team. You will be helping to shape the future of our product experience here at Trinny London. You will have strong visual design skills and solid experience of UX practice. Plus a good technical understanding and a passion for getting into the detail. You will be a customer champion, creating user-centred solutions that deliver a seamless, intuitive experience for our customers.
The role
- From the first sketch through to implementation, you’ll drive all stages of the design process
- Running both UI and UX reviews and designs
- Mentor more junior staff members
- Help improve and grow our standards and scalability
- Be experienced with tooling such as sketch, zeppelin, Jira and agile practices
- You’ll work collaboratively with the team to deliver end to end visually stimulating journeys that represent the Trinny London vision
- Use data and customer insight to identify opportunities to improve our customer journey
- Help to integrate user research in everything we do
- Produce user flows, define information architecture, and create prototypes, high fidelity mockups, and detailed UI and visual design specifications for multiple devices
- Develop style guides and design systems
- Present ideas to teams across the business and work closely with key stakeholders
- Partner with the content and design teams to ensure we deliver user centered, consistent and engaging brand and campaign experiences that deliver to the brief
- Partner with development teams to build experiences, provide appropriate design specifications, create assets, and review finished interfaces
- Ownership of projects and tasks
- Build relationships across the business in order to support and influence all aspects of the customer experience
- Build understanding of our eCommerce platform and CMS, current capabilities, limitations, and future opportunities
Requirements
- Significant, mid-senior level experience in a UX/UI, product design or similar role
- Expirence with B2C responsive websites
- A portfolio that demonstrates experience of end-to-end design
- Confident working with both qualitative and quantitative data
- Core understanding of the full UI and UX process
- An understanding of usability, accessibility and associated best practices
- Experience developing style guides / design systems, beneficial
- Advanced skills working with Sketch and Invision, Marvel or similar
- Competent skills working with Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
- An excellent communicator
- Confident working with stakeholders of all levels
- Previous experience in an ecommerce role, fashion or beauty, beneficial
