Quality Technician
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced quality technician for an exciting new opportunity working in the Hixon area, Near Stafford.
The quality technician in this role will be responsible for inspection of product to the required level, highlighting and recording any defects, whilst working with the operations team to resolve issues.
- Detailed inspection of all equipment, both prior to test and prior to despatch.
- Ensure non-conformances are recorded and the data captured.
- Work with the operations team to resolve any issues detected at the inspection stage.
- Analyse data for trends and report KPI’s on Operational performance including right first time and defect pareto analysis.
- Carry out containment on known issues to protect end customers
- Maintain good communication with internal stakeholders on issues detected which may affect build or delivery.
- Support other areas of the Quality function as and when required
Applicants must have previous experience of detailed inspection within either a mechanical or electrical environment, be computer literate and have be experienced using ERP /MRP systems. Previous experience with SAP would be most beneficial.
You should also have a good understanding of Quality Tools including Root cause analysis / 8D and internal auditing.
You should be a confident communicator, both spoken and written, have great attention to detail while maintaining a strong sense of urgency and possess good numeracy and organisational skills.
In return the quality technician in this role will be offered a rate of up to 12.00 per hour PAYE

Based in Hixon area of Staffordshire this role is commutable from Stoke on Trent, Stafford, Burton on Trent, Uttoxeter and Rugeley, amongst many other areas of the East Midlands and surrounding areas.
