Who are we?
We are Gorillas amp; we are on a mission to redefine convenience retail. We are a passionate and experienced founding team with previous start-up experience and roots at Bain amp; Company and HelloFresh. We are currently in talks with the most prominent early stage Venture Capital firms to fuel our growth. We are a young amp; very hungry team, which is ready to scale this business quickly and we are looking for new people in London with the same mentality that are ready to join us on this challenge.
To support our rapid growth, we are looking for an Inventory Associate to take ownership of our inventory processes as well as quality assurance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- You will execute all tasks involving inventory optimization and inventory tracking
- You are responsible for stock level accuracy and quality assurance
- You will monitor product freshness and quality, with focus on customer satisfaction
- You keep track of the expiry dates of all our products
- You will participate in a variety of day-to-day tasks within the warehouse
- You will assist the Warehouse/Inventory Manager with operations as necessary
- You track and analyze supplier performance and waste management
- You will receive products from our suppliers and ensure the physical count matches the purchase
- You will put away product to their inventory locations while making sure of the inventory accuracy
- You always make sure of the cleanliness and readiness of the warehouse for operations
Requirements
Your profile:
- You MUST be able to work unsociable hours on a shift based rota (40 hours per week)
- You have worked in a professional role in a similar environment
- You have strong organisational, problem-solving skills and a hands-on mentality
- You have an eye for detail and strive for perfection
- You are proficient in spreadsheet software such as Excel and Google sheets
- You have ideally gained some experience in a food production/grocery retail environment
- You have very good communication skills and high proficiency in both written and spoken English
