About the role

Fire Tech seeks a Customer Service Associate to play a central role in providing an outstanding experience for parents and students who participate in our programmes. We are growing at a fast pace and need someone with the grit and outstanding communication skills to assist with inbound customer queries and administration.

Responsibilities

Inbound Support

  • Responsible for managing all calls, emails and chat messages from prospective and existing customers.
  • Take payment and orders over the phone.
  • Follow up on any orders in which additional student details are required.
  • Upsell and cross sell customers into new courses.
  • Ad Hoc Administration support
  • Reach out to high value customers to propose next courses (course concierge)
  • Identify and contact companies to participate in our sponsorship programmes

Requirements

  • Highly organised amp; personable
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • Genuine care for customer needs
  • A positive amp; can-do attitude
  • They will also need a DBS check, but Fire Tech can organise and pay for this (they need proof of UK address in accordance with this list https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/dbs-identity-checking-guidelines/id-checking-guidelines-for-dbs-check-applications-from-3-september-2018

Time Requirements

    • 25 hours per week between 9am-5.30 pm Mon- Sun (To be confirmed with candidate- flexible)
    • Fixed Term 6 month Contract starting ASAP
    • Working remotely (but ample support amp; training provided)
