Job Description

Castle Trust Bank are looking to for a dynamic Property Graduate Assistant to join the Property team. The role holder will be responsible for supporting the Property Team with day to day activities, report writing and data collection, gaining experience in all aspects of property finance.

Castle Trust Bank was launched as 'Castle Trust' in October 2012 initially offering investment products and specialist mortgage finance. As we grew, we expanded our operations with the acquisition of Omni Capital Retail Finance in 2017, adding point of sale finance to our range of services.

Recognising an opportunity to develop the business further, in June 2020, we successfully became a fully authorised bank and changed our name to Castle Trust Bank.

With offices in the City of London and Basingstoke, we serve over 200,000 customers across our savings, specialist finance and retail finance arms.

The Role

  • Point of contact for the Property Team
  • Collate and produce data in accordance with company procedures
  • Produce high quality reports and presentations for the MD
  • Prepare reports and documentation for the Team and Committee meetings
  • Assist with admin and ad hoc projects within the Team
  • Working with the Team to build and develop a general overview of commercial, sales and operation functions within Property
  • Build knowledge of working in a regulatory environment
  • Interaction with Senior Managers across the business
  • Opportunity to integrate across other Teams within the business

Requirements

  • Impeccable written skills and grammar
  • Perfected approach to detail and accuracy
  • Motivated to want to learn how to do something the right way and to keep improving
  • An understanding of the importance of following procedural instructions
  • Proactive and able to work on own initiative
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with a broad range of individuals
  • MS Office skills:
  • Word at least intermediate level and self-motivated to improve their skills in
    functions with which they are less familiar.
  • PowerPoint at least intermediate level with an eye for detail and consistency, plus
    a desire to deliver to a high standard.
  • Excel basic level as they will need to be able to work on spreadsheets.
