The Energy Business is a vibrant and growing area with a focus on delivery of high quality expertise and services across multiple energy industries (Renewable energy, Oil and Gas, Nuclear power and Turbomachinery) and development of staff and tools to operate within these areas. We provide significant support to the civil nuclear sector, defence, rail, aviation, health and government customers deploying engineering and safety case skills across Decommissioning, Fusion, Generation, Technology, Renewables and New Build areas. However, this is just the first step, we want to support your career development so that you can achieve relevant professional qualifications including Chartership; All our graduates join our Professional Development Scheme, which is accredited by five professional institutions (IMechE, RAeS, IET, RINA amp; IoP). You will be assigned a mentor who will work with you to develop your own specific development plan so that you can gain the necessary skills and experience to become Chartered. To enable you to achieve your full potential we will give you the opportunity to spend extended periods of time working across the disciplines within our technical groups as well as spending time on our clients’ sites, which is so important for becoming the great consultant that you could be.

Requirements

We are interested in hearing from excellent candidates who want to work in Nuclear Engineering. As a minimum requirement you’ll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2:1 in your Batchelor’s or Master’s degree. The following are some of the degree courses identified as of interest, however we are open to hear from graduates of different subjects who are interested in the role too

  • Nuclear Engineering

  • Chemical/Process Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • General Engineering
