Health, Safety amp; Environment Trainer

Due to rapid growth, THG is looking to recruit additional Health, Safety amp; Environment Trainers for the Group Health amp; Safety team. You will be based at our main Distribution and Manufacturing Centre in Warrington.
Main Responsibilities
- Train assess and deliver a full range of nationally recognised health and safety courses including; IOSH managing safely, First Aid, Mental Health First Aid and Fire Safety
- Develop and train in-house bespoke courses using a variety of assessment methods including online training
- Review and assess all training through reporting and monitoring of feedback.
- Liaise with awarding bodies
- Prepare all paperwork and handouts for training courses
- Ensure all relevant documentation is correct and in line with current legislation.
- Deliver all relevant health and safety training across the business in line with current health and safety legislation.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of health and safety and legislation
- Report to health and safety and training manager any gaps or issues with health and safety on-site or training
- Any other activities that are required by the business.
Whilst this role will be based in Warrington you will be required to travel to other sites in UK and overseas to deliver training
Requirements
- IOSH managing safely qualification
- NEBOSH General Certificate (desirable)
- Level 3 Certificate in Training / Education or Equivalent
- L3 Instructor qualification First Aid amp; Oxygen Therapy
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to adapt and train across many different internal business sectors and environments.
- A real passion for developing others
- Can take ownership of problems and propose solutions
- Good team player
- Ability to embed corporate vison, values, and culture
- Strong health and safety background
- Ability to plan training and co-ordinate training
- Experience delivering training that is engaging and suitable for a range of learning styles.
