We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to join the supply chain team. The Supply Chain BI Analyst is the author of timely and insightful reports and analysis that will help the Supply Chain Team to make better decisions faster, as well as identify the most meaningful operations initiatives to invest behind to achieve needle moving results.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the supply chain team to create and regularly iterate automated delivery performance reports (daily, weekly, monthly etc) with insightful KPIs and on time that can help inform supply chain improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with other functions on developing appropriate reports for Leadership Team / Investors
- Work with the supply chain team to identify most relevant KPIs that can drive actionable insights (input vs output KPIs)
- Present value adding insights and prepare actionable recommendations to act upon data insights
- Ensure data quality of KPIs and core data sources
- Monitor the integrity of the data
- Input into the budget and forecasting process and reporting, understanding key drivers and variances
- Continually identify and implement improvements to business processes to increase efficiency
Requirements
- Knowledge of supply chain and the teams’ role within a business is a plus but not essential
- Profound experience in cloud based data warehouses (ideally BigQuery) from a business environment with complex datasets
- Outstanding SQL skills and significant experience with Tableau (experience from other BI tools will be considered), preferably from a fast pace startup environment
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset / Very good numerical and analytical skills
- Strong commercial awareness - evidence of pragmatic hypothesis-led approach
- Able to multi-task and adjust based on evolving priorities
- Experience visualizing and manipulating large data sets
- Good knowledge of using the Google Cloud Platform and its tools (e.g., BigQuery, Google Cloud Storage)
